The Piwakawaka

Nigel's Literacy group shared some ideas and came up with this Diamante poem about the Piwakawaka.

Piwakawaka

fluffy, tiny

flitter, flutter, swerve

brown feathers, black tail

Swooping, catching prey

  1. Hi Rawhiti School! I am Nishka from Yaldhurst Model School! I really like how you have made a very short and very lovely poem about a beautiful Fantail! Those birds are gorgeous! They are my favourite birds!

My favourite part of the poem is the rhyme flitter, flutter, swerve. That was a excellent rhyme! What did you like about the poem? Please reply to me! Bye!
