Welcome to Term 3 everyone! Last Friday while many students were out at Winter Sports, our remaining students created an animation on Google Slides. The theme was a rocket ship flying to the moon (hinting towards our upcoming inquiry project!) This is Nevaeh's animation, which she did an amazing job of.

Bridle Path Walk
Last Tuesday, our tamariki walked the Bridle Path so they could experience the journey the families took from Lyttleton into Christchurch. They were asked to consider our school RISE values whilst on the walk.
To show RESILIENCE when it felt too hard.
To show INTEGRITY to keep themselves safe.
To feel SUCCESS at the end of the climb and descent.
To EMPATHISE with how difficult the journey would have been whilst carrying luggage and small children.
